Taking you back to the legendary Roadhouse Blues Tour, this 16-track 2-LP set pressed on translucent red vinyl is drawn from recordings that made up the ABSOLUTELY LIVE album and features newly remixed concert recordings from NYC, Philly, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Hollywood, with the majority recorded in 1970. “Soul Kitchen” is the lone exception, coming from the second show on July 21, 1969, at the Aquarius Theatre in Hollywood. This is The Doors at their absolute bluesy, hard-rocking best.
